Welham Girls' School hosted Miss Linnell Hindi Debate competition under the series of events of ‘Smarika 2023’. The competition was held on April 13th and witnessed the participation of 11 schools from across the country. The Doon School, Rashtriya Indian Military College Dehradun, Welham Boys School, and Welham Girls School were the finalists. Welham Girls' School secured the second position while Welham Boys' School clinched the first position. The WGS team comprising (O-097) Chitrangada Tiwari, (F-554) Arshiya Sharma and (F-145) Shreem Miglani performed exceptionally well. Shreem was adjudged the best interlocutor in the qualifying round, and Chitrangada was declared the best speaker proposition in the final round. The debate was a huge success as students debated on relevant and thoughtful topics.
