The SC class students visited Flex Foods Ltd., Haridwar, on 6th April 2024 as part of their bagless day trip. The GM of the unit carried out an interactive session for the students with an interesting presentation on the operations carried at Flex Foods followed by round of question and answers. Thereafter, the students were taken on a tour of the production unit to witness the actual process of freeze drying and air drying of herbs like thyme, oregano, parsley etc. and that of mushrooms, corn and other vegetables. Students learnt about product innovation, technological advancement, sensitivity towards the environment and quality control in today’s competitive environment.
