We are seeking a dedicated, qualified and experienced Lifeguard to join our team and ensure the safety and well-being of our students for grades 6 to 12. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working and maintaining a safe environment in the swimming pool area and responding to emergency situations with professionalism and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students during swimming activities, providing constant oversight in and around the pool.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, administering first aid, CPR and other lifesaving measures when needed.
• Regularly maintain and clean the pool by monitoring water quality, checking chemical levels and ensuring all pool equipment is functioning properly to ensure a safe and clean environment.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and ensure safety equipment (e.g., lifebuoys, first aid kits) is in working order and easily accessible.
• Assist swimming coach in day-to-day operations which may include but not be limited to basic swim instructions, encouraging water safety and swimming techniques.
• Foster a positive, supportive environment, helping students feel confident and safe in the water.
• Maintain records of pool use, safety incidents and report any concerns to the swimming coach.
• Participate in regular training and drills on rescue techniques, CPR, first aid, and other lifesaving skills to stay updated with the latest procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in any field.
• Valid Lifeguard Certification (American Red Cross or equivalent)
• CPR/AED Certification for Professional Rescuers First Aid Certification

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of lifeguarding experience.
• Prior experience in a boarding school is a plus.

Remuneration:

Physics Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Physics teacher for grades 6 to 12. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of the subject, a passion for teaching, and the ability to make Physics both engaging and educational through innovative and creative teaching strategies.

Education:

• Master’s degree in Physics.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts and encourage curiosity.
• Experience with lab equipment and conducting experiments.
• Skilled in using creative, hands-on activities and real-life examples to make Physics relatable and exciting.
• Ability to foster a positive, supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages students to explore and experiment.
• Willingness to participate in school events, science fairs, and extracurricular activities to enhance student engagement.
• Commitment to professional growth and staying updated on educational innovations and developments in Physics.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of proven teaching experience, preferably at the middle and secondary school levels, ideally with ISC, ICSE, or CIE curricula.
• Prior experience in a boarding school is a plus.

Project Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Accountant to join our team and manage the financial aspects of our civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in accounting and finance, with specific and significant experience in managing project budgets, cost controls, and financial reporting in the construction or civil engineering industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Financial Management:
  1. Monitor and manage all financial aspects of civil engineering projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  2. Prepare and maintain detailed project budgets, ensuring alignment with project plans and schedules.
  3. Track project expenses, commitments, and forecasts to ensure adherence to the approved budget.
• Cost Control and Analysis:
  1. Analyze project costs and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
  2. Identify and investigate variances between actual costs and budgeted costs, providing explanations and recommendations for corrective actions.
  3. Work closely with the project team to develop cost-saving strategies and improve financial performance.
• Financial Reporting:
  1. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual project financial statements.
  2. Generate and review project-specific reports such as cost-to-complete forecasts, cash flow projections, and profitability analysis.
  3. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.
• Billing and Invoicing:
  1. Manage the billing and invoicing process for projects, including preparing and submitting invoices to clients and tracking payment status.
  2. Coordinate with clients to resolve any billing or payment issues, ensuring prompt and accurate collections.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping:
  1. Maintain comprehensive financial documentation and records for each project, including contracts, change orders, invoices, and expense reports.
  2. Ensure all financial records are up-to-date, accurate, and easily accessible for audit and review purposes.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  1. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure financial objectives are met and risks are mitigated.
  2. Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.
Proven experience as a project accountant, preferably in the construction or civil engineering industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and cost control techniques.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
