Welham Girls' School

The school is a global member of Round Square, actively committed to imparting character education and experiential learning built around RS Discovery Framework and IDEALS of Internationalism, Democracy, Environmental Stewardship, Adventure, Leadership and Service. As part of the Round Square network, the students engage, collaborate, apply, create and design online and offline conferences and service project activities for the community around and further afield. The Round Square platform offers opportunities to the students to embrace and respect cultural differences and similarities when they interact with students of other nationalities.

The WLSA community is made up of students, educators and leaders from secondary schools and universities collaborating and learning from one another through innovative international experiences and programs. The school has collaborated with WLSA that has given the students access to a network of over 50 leading schools around the world. This interaction has promoted an enhanced cultural understanding and has guided them to be the next generation of effective global leaders working towards a sustainable and prosperous world.

The Global Education & Leadership Foundation is an organisation that focuses on cultivating ethical, altruistic leadership aimed at improving the overall standard of the world. Their mission is to identify and empower ethical and altruistic leaders through partnerships with local and global communities and organizations. Welham has been part of tGelf projects since 2011. Each year, the tGELF Harmony Competition aspires to engage young leaders to help them evolve into future agents of change. Students run innovative campaigns and develop sustainable product designs for student-run companies. They participate in international marketing competitions and also create motion pictures and posters on sustainable themes.

Workshops by eminent speakers provide the students valuable insights into marketing strategies, challenging them to create and innovate. They enable students to understand behind the scene processes involved in establishing companies and brands, thereby empowering the youth to become problem solvers and job creators instead of job seekers. At a young age, students gain skills to address real needs as they create entrepreneurial business products in both product and service businesses.

BSAI is a pioneer Indian association that serves, represents and promotes the interests of purely residential, private, unaided boarding schools in India.

Welham Girls' School has become a member of the AFS Intercultural Programs, an international, voluntary, non-governmental, non-profit organization that provides intercultural learning opportunities to help people develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to create a more just and peaceful world. AFS Intercultural Programs India has sent over 2000 plus participants from India on various yearlong and short-term programs. Participants include various high school students, educators, volunteers, and renowned educationists.
