A delegation of 11 students participated in the 8th Edition of the Welham Boys' School Model United Nations Conference from 4th to 6th August 2022.The theme of the conference was ‘Festina Lente’, meaning make haste slowly. Stimulations of a total of seven committees ranging from the United Nations Security Council to the World Trade Organization were offered. Additionally, the participants were given the opportunity to act as political figures in the All-India Parties Meet. The International Press Corps was present in all the committees to report on the events and inform the people about world and political affairs. The students had an enriching experience and performed exceptionally well, winning several laurels for the school . (B-714) Shalini Kottapalli and (F-136) Medha Singhal won the Outstanding Delegate Award. (W-006) Rashi Baid, (H-625) Ishaani Bhatia, (H-240) Avani Jindal and (B-161) Khwaish Agarwal received Honourable Mentions in their respective committees. It was a fruitful conference for all the students who attended the event.
