This last week the WGS Tennis team has scored back-to-back victories at two events - the Unison Inter School Invitation Tennis Tournament ‘Pratispardha’ as well as the 7th SelaQui Invitational Inter-School Tournament. The team secured top positions in both the events. Here is the tally of the wins:
Unison Inter School Invitation Tennis Tournament:
Vaanya Thapliyal won the First position in the U-18 category. She was also awarded the ‘Most Valuable Player’ of the tournament trophy.
In the U-14 category, the team secured the second position.
The WGS team brought home the Overall Trophy.
7th SelaQui Invitational Inter-School Tournament:
Vaanya Thapliyal won the first position in U-18 Singles category.
Aarna Tiwari secured the 2nd position in the U-18 Singles category.
Vaanya Thapliyal and Samaira Aggarwal secured the 1st position in the U-18 Doubles category.
