Caroline Creasey, a class 11 exchange student from Groton School, USA, spent two weeks at WGS and returned with a memorable trip! A full and active schedule curated for her ensured that she participated in almost all the activities our school has to offer, from regular academic classes to sports and games, from guitar and drums classes to Indian singing and Bharatnatyam. Caroline even tried her hand at playing the tabla, doing yoga, painting and pottery, and even laser printing. Her favourite turned out to be the Indian cookery lessons where she made puri-sabzi and nariyal laddoos! The school also planned local sightseeing for her. Caroline was all praise for India, Indian hospitality, Indian food, and Indian women by the time she was ready to leave. She expressed her admiration for our hospitality and care in her well-articulated farewell speech at her last assembly with us.
