A group of 21 students and two teacher escorts travelled to Vietnam in December for as part of the school’s commitment to provide a well-rounded education outside of the classroom. The trip included visits to historical sights, leisure activities and a chance to witness the rich culture up close. The trip commenced with a guided city tour of Hanoi and a chance to attend engaging Vietnam calligraphy session and Puppet show that provided insights into the country's artistic traditions. On the second day, the students visited Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. They trekked to Titop Island and appreciated the ecological wonders of the region. They visited Ho Chi Minh City where they visited the Cu Chi Tunnels that are a testament to the strength and resourcefulness of the Vietnamese people during challenging times.
