A group of 10 students from Welham attended a series of French competitions at the 11th Edition of Le Concours de la Francophonie de Mayo from 8th to 10th October. Vaanya Goel won the second prize for the French Olympiad. Chitrangada Anand and Shanvi Mittal were awarded the 3rd prize for the French Culinary competition; Tushti Arora and Ditsa Garg won the 3rd prize for the Francophonie Quiz and the French film won the 3rd prize as well. The event provided an excellent platform to students to explore the French language, culture, cuisine and traditions with a focus on collaboration, social and cultural awareness and leadership.
