The Computer Department organized an online session on Data Science and Analytics for students of class 9 and 11 on 4th January, 2024. The session was conducted by Mr. Ajiitesh Gupta, a data analyst. In a clear and structured manner, Mr Gupta elucidated concepts like Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, data acquisition etc. which are the core components of Data Science. He elaborated on the widespread use of data science in our daily lives, spanning from transportation and finance to social media. Emphasizing its significance, he outlined the requisite skills in computer science and statistics essential for success in this field. Mr. Gupta also shared valuable learning resources available on platforms such as Coursera, edX, and Khan Academy, enabling students to self-educate.
