A mixed group of nine girls from the SC and AI classes attended a week-long summer programme on "Entrepreneurship and Leadership" at the Hotel Institute in Montreux, Switzerland. The course provided the girls an international platform to share their ideas and enriched them with invaluable entrepreneurship lessons. Besides the classes, the students also participated in activities that provided opportunities to discover the enchanting splendours of Switzerland. From visiting the oldest Chocolate Factory at Cailler to a trip to Gruyere- a small village renowned for its cheese, the girls also trekked on the Alps and went to Glacier 3000. They had an immersive experience at the museum in Charlie Chaplin's house. But the most unexpected and unforgettable evening was the audio-visual treat at the Montreux Jazz Festival - the dates of which happened to coincide with the school trip! This trip provided each girl with a unique cultural perspective as they explored the cities of Geneva, Bern, Interlaken and Zurich. The girls also visited the beautiful town of Annecy in France and the quaint old town of Titisee in Germany. Overall, it was one of the most enjoyable and memorable trips and everyone unanimously agreed that these were the best two weeks of summer.
