A film by three Class XI students has been selected for the national Final round! Bhumee Agarwal, Yashvi Agarwal and Naisargi Patel enrolled for the Reel to Real—Movie Making Competition of tGelf’s annual youth fest, Harmony 2024. The team pivoted and discovered a hidden story close to home: Surat’s innovative waste management project. The film "KhoobSURAT" tells the story of a sanitary worker in Surat, whose life was shattered by the plague. Told from her point of view, the film explores the hardships she faced while living in the midst of a city stricken by the plague. The film highlights how seemingly minor tasks, like those done by people like her, are the true catalysts for significant change in the city's environment. Congratulations to the team for making it to the National Final level of the competition!
