Five students attended a Hindustani Vocal Music Workshop facilitated by Pt. Omkar Dadarkar at The Doon School on 10th August. The students explored various aspects of Hindustani Classical Music, including voice training, effective practice techniques, and musical embellishments like meend, gamak, khatka, and murki. The students learnt Raag Des, focusing on Aaroh, Avroha, key phrases, Vilambit Khayal in Roopak Taal, and compositions in Teentaal. Pt.
