Four students from Class XI participated in the History for Peace Conference, held on the 13th and 14th of May at Shiv Nadar School, Noida. The conference centred around the theme 'The Idea of Justice', providing attendees with a platform to delve into this fundamental concept. Distinguished figures such as Swarna Rajagopalan-founder of Prajnya, Nivedita Menon-Professor JNU, Bittu Sehgal-renowned environmental activist among others delivered keynote addresses. Students also had the opportunity to engage in three interactive workshops where they explored various facets of justice, employing methods such as theatre, fostering discussions on the interplay between ethics and social justice, and envisioning a just society through historical perspectives.
