A workshop on “Mentoring and Nurturing the 21st Century Residential Teacher” was conducted by Mr. Vinay Pande on 20th January, 2024. Mr. Pande comprehensively covered all facets of a teacher's residential life, encompassing teaching, mentoring, pastoral care, and the roles of a friend and confidant. The workshop proved to be engaging, with Mr. Pande sharing insightful anecdotes from his extensive career spanning three decades, during which he assumed various roles. Mr. Pande underscored the importance of infusing fun, humour, and laughter into the workplace as effective tools to enhance motivation and reduce stress among educators. Additionally, the workshop provided valuable insights on conflict management and dealing with challenging individuals and situations. In conclusion, he stressed the importance of unity to foster higher levels of team spirit among teachers.
