A group of bird enthusiasts from grades 7, 8 and 9 took part in a Nest Building Workshop organised by the Doon Girls’ School as part of their Environmental Awareness Program on the 7th of October. Students had the privilege to interact with the Nest man of India, Mr. Rakesh Khatri, a noted environmentalist. During the interactive workshop students learnt how to create bird nests that provide safe and comfortable environments for birds to lay their eggs. Guided by experts in wildlife conservation, participants used natural materials to weave and construct various types of nests.
