The department of Computer Science organized a GEP on 30th March 2024 with a focus on podcasts. The session aimed to introduce students to the concept of a podcast and provide practical insights into creating one. The program covered various subtopics, including understanding what a podcast is and the steps involved in creating a podcast. Students learned about selecting a topic, scripting, creating a cover page, recording audio, editing, merging audio files, and producing a final movie file by combining graphics and recorded audio. Additionally, they were guided on uploading the finished product to a YouTube account. Following the instructional session, a question-answer session was conducted to address student queries and clarify doubts. This GEP serves as a precursor to an interdisciplinary project planned for this term, integrating English and Computer Studies.
