The department of Third Languages organised a Poem Recitation Competition for students of Class 7 on 28th August as part of an experiential learning activity during their GEP period. The students were able to fluently enunciate keeping in mind a certain rhythm and pronunciation characteristic of the language they are learning. Through this activity not only were they able to reinforce concepts learnt in class but also discover the nuances of the language. Listening to the young ones recite poetry in a foreign language was a treat to the ears!
