The Class 7 students engaged in an ant tracking and squirrel watching activity as part of their scientific investigation session. They followed ant trails, studied ant morphology, behavior and communication. Students located a few anthills and were thrilled to see a trail of busy ants carrying food into their anthill. The students made interesting observations and documented how a squirrel is able to hang on, climb and make long leaps because of its sharp claws, long tail and excellent eyesight.
