Dr. Sonia Khosa, Batch of 2002, has been awarded the early career researcher prize in legal scholarship by Australia's leading University, Australian National University, for her PhD manuscript and is awaiting her book publication. After completing her PhD from University of Sydney's Business School, Dr. Sonia started her journey as a full-time lecturer at University of Sydney, Australia.
Prior to this, she has worked for a decade with the Indian Securities Regulator, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as Assistant General Manager (Law).

Ms. Mrinaal Sehgal, Batch of 2017, has been declared the winner of the 21st Century Emily Dickinson Award in recognition of her outstanding contribution to Poetry. Mrinaal Sehgal studied anthropology in her undergraduate years, where she was introduced to diverse styles of ethnographic writing. Professionally, she has worked as a content writer and copywriter across both short and long formats, primarily crafting words for companies. While writing has always been a part of her work, her creative pieces have largely remained personal until now. "Unlinear' marks her debut poetry collection.

Ms. Gargi Rawat, Batch of 1995, a Senior Anchor & Environment Reporter at NDTV 24X7 has been honored at the WOT Awards 2025.
For over two decades, she has brought stories of wildlife, conservation and climate to the forefront - from Born Wild to Save our Tigers and the acclaimed documentary series on the Ganga.
With the recent release of her debut novel Tiger Season, Gargi continues to inspire action through storytelling - blending journalism, fiction and fierce advocacy for the planet.

Ms Nandita Kanchan (Batch of 1984) received the prestigious 'CBDT Certificate of Excellence' on 21st August, 2024, during the celebrations of 165 years of Income Tax. The award was conferred upon Ms Kanchan by the Hon’ble Finance Minister of India Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman. Ms Kanchan is an officer of the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) of 1993 batch and currently posted as Principle Commissioner of Income Tax in New Delhi. A proud moment for us all at Welham!
Ms. Mahima Kaul (Batch of 2021) has recently joined Netflix as Director of Public Policy. Kaul is former Director, APAC Public Policy, Bumble and has had an impressive career graph. She worked at Twitter, The Indian Express, NewsX, Australia India Institute, TV News International, The Open Communication Foundation, and Observer Research Foundation, to name a few. WGS wishes Ms Kaul the best for her new position at Netflix!
Ms Mahima Marwah (nee Tanka) of the Batch of 1997 has been appointed as the Chief Client Experience and Marketing Officer, Asia. Marwah will be responsible for leading the client and marketing strategy across Asia to grow brand health, deepen client engagement and inform product innovation to meet client needs. She has held roles previously at FWD and Allianz.
A kingfisher is on the Times Square billboard! Ishika Agarwal, batch of 2020, has been featured on the iconic 1585 Morgan Stanley billboard on Times Square. She has started her internship with Morgan Stanley as a Portfolio Analytics for hedge funds. In Ishika's message to school : "I owe a great deal of my success to the education and support I received at Welham. Without Welham, this achievement wouldn’t have been possible. I am truly honoured to represent our esteemed alma mater in this endeavour. Specially a big thank you to all my teachers without whom this would have not been possible." We are so proud to watch you soar Ishika!
