There is a hope
By Chhaya Singh Thursday, Jun 04, 2020
A thin, faint, dangling-by-the-thread kind of hope.
For the artists, authors, poets,
There is a hope
Fighting the pessimists and other threats
There is a hope
In these trying times of desperation
We must not lose the fight
Despite being separated
We must hold on tight
For although it is faint
There is a hope
A hope to rebuild the world
To transform it into a safe haven for us
Reshaped at the hands of the dreamers
A place based on love peace and trust
There is a hope,
For this dream to last
For us to unite as one
Learn from the past
And turn our dreams into reality
Let’s use our hope and creativity
To once again change the world,
And hopefully let it heal.
